The exhibits at the Gospel Music Museum utilize artifacts and multi-media - photos, videos, wax figures, and interactive kiosks - to tell the story of gospel music.
One area examines gospel, with displays on the sub genras of gospel: Southern Gospel, Contemporary Gospel, Blues Gospel, Country Gospel (Country Christian), Rock Gospel (Christian Gospel), and Bluegrass Gospel.
Additional exhibits focus on the work of individual artists, ranging from Thomas Dorsey (the Father of Gospel), Mahalia Jackson, James Cleveland, Shirley Caesar, Sister Rosetta Tharpe, Revernd Gary Davis, Elvis Presley, Ralph Stanlet, The Soul Stirrers, The Mighty Clouds of Joy, Porter Wagoner, Skillet, just to name a few.
The Museum will be made up of thousands of priceless personal artifacts, images, recordings, etc.
